We would like to take this opportunity to say well done to all the children that took part in our Halloween costume competition over this Half Term.
We loved all the costumes and it was soo hard to pick out who had the best costume but we have come to a decision... 3rd place - Sasha 2nd place - Ben 1st place- Matthew Congratulations!! We hope you enjoy your prizes! Over half term we had some amazing activities that the children took part in and we had an FUNtastic time.
During half term we had a best dressed Halloween costume competition and we were very impressed with all the children’s costumes. We can’t wait to look back through the pictures and pick out our favourite. The 3 best dressed children will win a great prize. Stay tuned later today to find out who won!!! School is officially over for Summer and we would like to wish all our Year 6 children who have been with us over the years the best of luck with their new school and their future. They will all be very missed and we will always be open for them to come back and visit us.

We will be giving away super prizes for the children who create the best 4 stories. All of the childrens stories will be published in anthology of short stories in 2018 on Amazon. During May/June 2017 half term we hosted a Bake Off event and it went extremely well.
We would like to give a massive congratulations to all the children who took part in our Bake Off this half term. We were so impressed with all the cakes and it was so hard to judge all of them but now we are happy to announce the winners!! 8-12+ years old: 3rd- Rares 2nd - Cameron 1st - Charlotte 3-7 years old: 3rd - Bella & Grace 2nd - Maya 1st - Caitlin We are very proud of the children for showing such amazing baking skills. You should all be extremely proud of yourselves! Well Done! We would like to welcome 3 new staff to our team and wish them all the luck with their new role. Kate Lentall and Sue Carrick who will be working at our Christchurch Juniors Club and Joanna Brown who will be starting at our Burton C of E Club!
It's time for the kids to get stuck into some good old fashioned baking. Here at Funtastic Holiday Club during the half term we will be holding a baking competition and handing out first, second and third prizes! All the children will have a chance to get involved in learning this age old culinary skill!
This Easter Holiday 2017 Funtastic Club will be having our very own 'cat walk'. The children will get the opportunity to design and create their own range of clothes and show them off down the catwalk runway. Look out Coco Chanel, one of these kids might just be the next fashionista in town!
Funtastic Club is getting into the Valentine's spirit and we've decided that there is no better way to do it than to hold a special Masquerade Ball for all the children who attend our February half term holiday club!
There will be lots of party games and dancing to make sure that the children have a magical Valentine's Day experience. Also, starting from pretty much now, during our afterschool club the children will begin sewing their very own costumes and making their own masks for the ball! This will give them a fantastic opportunity to learn a new skill and get creative! We are very excited to get started... |
